Chairman of the Board of Directors of Green Leaves Group of Companies
Viktor Marchenko established a company Green Leaves in 1990. Today, he heads the Board of Directors of Green Leaves Group of Companies, which is engaged in architectural design, production of construction materials, production of dairy products and soft drinks, research and development. The company has more than 100 medals and diplomas, 12 patents, including international.
Victor Marchenko in his activity sets ambitious objectives aimed at improving the quality of life of the population of Primorye. The core of all his projects is the implementation of innovative solutions. He together with the doctor of technical sciences Sotnikov V.A. is the author of patents for the production of environmentally friendly products. The results of his activities are known not only in the region, but also beyond its borders.
Viktor Marchenko deals with the creation of favorable conditions for business in the region. He is a member of the Public Expert Council for investment promotion in the Primorye Territory, member of the Board of LLC SMEs “OPORA Rossii”. For his contribution to the development of the construction industry, investment activity, introduction of modern technologies for the production of building materials and house building systems Viktor Marchenko was marked by numerous awards of the Administration of the Primorye Territory.
Today Victor Vasilievich is involved in large-scale project to establish agro-biotechnological complex of closed cycle for the production and processing of cow's milk, feed production, storage and processing of rice, soybeans, and other grains and oilseeds, with the processing and recycling of all production wastes.
Innovative agricultural complex “Green Leaves” will consist of the following units: a farm for 4,133 heads of cattle (fodder flock – 2,155 heads, dairy herd – 1,800, young animals – 1,979 heads), dairy (capacity of 50 tons/day), cereal plant (capacity of 40,000 tons per year), an elevator (capacity of 1,200 tons per day, storage capacity - 40,000 tons), biogas plant (8 MW/h), vermicultivator (capacity of 43.7 m³ of vermicompost per day), greenhouse (productivity for 1m² per year: tomatoes - 50 kg, cucumbers - 51 kg, lettuce - 310 pcs., greenery - 399 pcs.), logistics complex. The complex will include its own logistics center, consisting of: 3 distribution warehouses with a capacity of up to 50 tons each; six wholesale warehouses with a capacity of 5-10 tons of stored products; own fleet of vehicles (73 refrigerator trucks with carrying capacity of 3.5 tons for the delivery of products to retail outlets and 6 refrigerator trucks with capacity of up to 20 tons for the distribution of products across the distribution warehouses).
This is a completely energy self-sufficient complex with power equipment - pyrolysis and biogas plants. Organic agricultural wastes (rice straw, peelings and lignin) are used as raw materials for biofuel production, cattle manure - for the production of biogas.
Production is based on cluster principle, it consists of several interrelated and at the same time independent of each other product lines. Complex as an “anchor” company can coordinate around a network of satellites, including up to 20 small and medium-sized enterprises and become a platform for the development of agricultural cooperation and entrepreneurship in agriculture of the Primorye Territory.
As part of the project, the company Green Leaves on the basis of scientific research conducts the development and implementation of innovative technologies. At one of the plants the technology for processing of milk – tindallization - is already included in the production process, which allows saving the taste and nutritional value of fresh milk for a long period (up to 60 days). This invention was patented in the Russian Federation, New Zealand, Japan, China, Australia, South Korea and the EU. Pending patent for technology of biogas production can significantly increase productivity per unit of incoming raw materials per time unit.
In addition, the production will use other innovative solutions:
- forage production technology using high-yielding forage crops resistant to drought and flooding;
- subsurface tillage technology;
- technology of production of bio-organic fertilizers (vermicompost) by processing of solid fraction of methane fermentation waste by Californian worms;
- waste utilization technology for rice production to produce high-purity generator gas followed by cogeneration;
- technology of growing vegetables on synthetic (polymer) substrates with an automated capillary feeding of roots of plants with nutrient solutions.
The project envisages the solution of social problems. In the course of its implementation over 560 new jobs with high wages will be created; it is planned to build 5400 m2 of living space for workers; scientific research base for the development and implementation of innovations in agricultural production will be opened; the human resources basis will be formed, training for students of agricultural universities and FEFU will be organized
The project “Innovative agricultural complex “Green Leaves” will contribute to economic growth and industrial development in the region, solving the problem of food security of the population of the Primorye Territory by increasing agricultural productivity, in particular increasing the number of breeding cattle, production of milk, cereals and vegetables. The implementation of the investment project will have a positive effect on the economy and society as a whole.
The project is included
- in the State program “Socio-economic development of the Far East and the Baikal Region until 2025”
- in the program “Socio-economic development of the Primorye Territory for 2013-2017”
- in the list of priority investment projects supported by the Administration of the Primorye Territory
- in the Plan of joint activities of the Group of Vnesheconombank and the Primorye Territory Administration for the integrated development of the Primorye Territory for 2013-2018.
